Residence and work
Permit can be granted to
foreigners intending to undertake or continue work in Poland, if the circumstances justify the foreigner's stay in Poland for the period longer than 3 months.
Also to foreigners intending to undertake or continue work as a board member in a joint-stock company or limited liability company, which shares or stocks are not owned by the foreigner, and the entity which that person manages or will be managing, meets the relevant requirements.
Work of assigned employee
Permit can be granted to foreigners who are delegated to work in Poland, by a foreign employer, if the circumstances justify the foreigner’s stay in Poland for the period longer than 3 months.
Residence with family
If the residence in the territory of Poland lasts longer than three months, an EU citizen and a member of his family who are nationals of the EU are required to register their stay, and a family member who is not an EU citizen is required to obtain a residence card of a family member of an EU citizen.
Residence registration obligation does not apply to an EU citizen who has the right of residence in order to seek employment.
